“I like the challenge of getting my clients from point A to point B—helping them accentuate the positive and minimize the negative for their business.”

Brian P. Jaye, CPAAn entrepreneur from a young age, Brian Jaye, CPA, CGMA, has a passion for helping other business owners. As the founder of JRRO, he works closely with business owners and family businesses to help them achieve their financial goals and objectives to build something meaningful.

Brian recognizes that his work as a CPA is about more than just tax returns, accounting and financial statements. His approach to serving his clients is personal. He puts himself in their shoes. It’s also comprehensive. From the formation of a business through the sale or transfer, he is an advocate and trusted confidante to his clients.

The ability to see something through to the end is important to Brian. It’s no wonder he spends a great deal of time helping his clients address one of the most important decisions they can make as a business owner—the sale of and exit from their business. For many business owners, there is a lot of anxiety and pain with a sale and exit. Through education and objective guidance, he helps his clients sort through the many opinions they will hear, balance the emotional reactions and work with them to make the best decisions for their business and family at the right time.

As you would expect from someone who has built and run a business their entire career, Brian is empathetic, a good listener and unwavering in his ability to help his clients succeed. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, he went on to work for a public accounting firm and business management company before opening what would become JRRO in 1979.

Brian is a member of the California CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and the Global Management Accounting (CGMA) designation.

Brian splits his time between Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Atlanta, where his three sons live. He enjoys traveling in the U.S. and spending time in the mountains.
